You helped train him! He’s planted 24 churches in the Congo! Together we can train more!

Meet Pastor Prince Akpo and his wife Geneviève. This dynamic couple graduated from our Bible School in Kinshasa in 2023. They were sent from their church in Burkina Faso as missionaries to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and, soon after, enrolled in the school.

Tonja and I preached at the first church they planted in Kinshasa in 2021. This last Easter we returned and were pleased to see the church growing and a beautiful large church building erected.

Pastor Prince was excited to share that, after the church planting course at our Bible School, he received the practical training that enabled him to recruit and equip teams that have already planted 24 churches in multiple provinces throughout the DRC.

This is an exceptional example of 2 Timothy 2:2 in action, “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” II Timothy 2:2

This is why this ministry exists! The multiplying of leaders like Pastor Prince and Geneviève is the key to the fulfillment of the Church’s mandate to bring the Gospel of Christ’s Kingdom, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to every tongue, tribe and nation!

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14

TIME-SENSITIVE PRIORITY PROJECTS: Let’s train more leaders like Pastor Prince AKPO

Two of the four goals we previously shared have been reached and we are grateful to those who gave generously and sacrificially. Please stand with us, as we believe for the other two projects to be fully funded in a timely manner.

$6,000—Technology to Equip More Leaders: Two additional computers are required for video recording and editing of classes to train more leaders in more nations.

$16,500—Campus facilities. This amount is required for us to fulfill our contractual obligations for our two buildings on the university campus in Kinshasa where hundreds of Congolese leaders are being trained and from where simulcasts to leaders in other French-speaking nations are broadcast.

Goal reached! $4,000—More “power” to Reach the Nations: A robust battery backup system will provide reliable electricity during Kinshasa’s almost daily power outages. This is essential for our in-person classes and livestreaming courses into other French-speaking nations.

Goal reached! $3,000—Round-trip airfare for nations180 directors travel to Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo
