They could not be defeated: 265 RHEMA Haiti graduates overcome political, gang violence, earthquake and economic crises

On May 20, the 265 graduates of RHEMA Haiti’s class of 2021 finally had the opportunity to celebrate their commencement.  Unrest and security issues made it necessary to postpone their celebration for two years. The obstacles faced by these world changers is a testimony to their faith and perseverance. A presidential assassination, violent kidnappings, gang warfare, earthquake, food and fuel shortages are just a few of the challenges they overcame.

Shaken but not forsaken - RHEMA Haiti Earthquake Report

Today, August 14, 2021, another major earthquake (7.2 magnitude) hit the nation of Haiti. We are in constant contact with our leaders on the ground in Haiti and are receiving regular updates. So far, in spite of significant damage and loss of life in certain regions, our students and graduates are giving us good reports of God’s protection. One of our students told us their home was flattened during the quake but, thankfully, no one was home and no one was injured.
